Got questions about our pricing?
Read through some basic questions that people have asked us till now or feel free to contact us for more info.
Absolutely! For a single person team, it is perfect to use for free for lifetime. And you can add as many viewers for free. You’ll pay only when you need to add more product managers or contributors.
Product Managers are the core members of the product organization. They build and manage roadmaps, define epics and initiatives, synthesize and organize feedbacks and ideas and work with engineering in planning the roadmap. Contributors are all other stakeholders who help in building the roadmap. Contributors can be sales managers, Support team members, marketing folks or even the leadership team. Basically, Contributors are the people who have a voting right on the roadmap and provide key feedbacks and ideas to enable product managers to build the roadmap.
Viewer is anyone who would like to just view the data in the system. For example: the financial controllers who do not have a direct contributing role in the product roadmap but would like to keep a tab on the whole system. They just keep on monitoring or may be just want to keep an eye on how things are moving along so as to align their own plans.
Product Managers collate ideas, feedbacks and other info into initiatives and epics to build a roadmap and manage it. But contributors are actual stakeholders who not only vote on what they want product managers to work on, they actually provide feedbacks and ideas, client information, and even help prioritize the epics on the roadmap. In Penome, contributors bring transparency and clarity to any work item that gets prioritized. They provide direct inputs to the roadmap in the system, not in just some obscure email or slack message. Penome focusses a lot more on contributors that product managers. Without Contributors, product managers would never be able to build roadmaps and that’s why contributor license is a lot more important for an organization. If you are thinking on optimizing number of licenses, we would suggest to have more contributors and less product manager licenses. And what the heck! Ask us and we’ll give Product manager licenses for free just to get you more contributors help you build a roadmap that actually moves the needle.
